Devils Vs. Hurricanes Over 6

I’m not betting against the Florida Panthers until further notice. This isn’t just a flukey team that beat a historic Boston Bruins team. These playoff Panthers have some serious talent, and defenseman Brandon Montour is a prime example. Montour has four goals in the past three games, and a team-leading six goals throughout the postseason. Florida has been lighting the lamp with consistency as of late, averaging 4.75 goals per game in their last four matchups. The Panthers were the top-shooting team throughout the regular season (36.54 shots per game) and trended over throughout the year (48-34-8). Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has gone 4-1 between the pipes in the playoffs, but he’s also allowed 3.6 goals per game along the way, including two matchups with five goals allowed.

Toronto was a top-10 scoring team throughout the regular season, and it’s easy to see why. The team’s shown some offensive firepower in the playoffs, with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner combining for 21 points thus far. The Maple Leafs are averaging 3.57 goals per game in the playoffs, with Matthews basically averaging a goal per game in the last five. We’ve seen no shortage of high scoring games the past few nights of the NHL Playoffs, and I don’t see that stopping with this clash between offense-heavy teams.

Dallas Stars 60-Min Moneyline

This series has been insanely high scoring and in the two games the Stars have lost it has been due to the floodgates opening early on. Jake Oettinger has been one of the best regular season goalies but has been a rollercoaster this series. He is still someone to trust as he had a 2.57 xGAA this season and a 2.37 GAA. He has a 2.57 XGAA in the playoffs whereas Philipp Grubauer is someone I don’t trust as much, boasting a 3.17 xGAA this playoff and has struggled vs. Dallas.

Dallas is still the deeper team and defensively I like them to get the job done. They allowed the 6th fewest goals this season and were 2nd in xGAA.
