Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Player Props (1/23/22)
The matchup between the Rams and Buccaneers on Sunday is my favorite game of the weekend, and I’m expecting a ton of terrific value on player props. In the game between these teams earlier this year, the Rams won 34-24, and there were tremendous performances on both sides. You can check out my full betting preview for analysis on the over/under and spread, and in this article, we’ll tackle some of the highest-value player props on the board. You can use the player prop search tool below to find the best value on odds in your market for props from the Rams vs. Buccaneers game.

Van Jefferson Longest Reception Over 18.5 Yards
In his second season in the NFL, Van Jefferson has emerged as a big-play threat and a consistent part of the Rams’ offense. The Buccaneers’ secondary has dealt with injuries all season, and that attrition has led to them allowing big plays from time to time. Earlier this year, despite the Bucs being much healthier on defense, they were burned on a 75-yard bomb from DeSean Jackson and catches of 20+ yards from Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, and Jefferson. Jefferson has a 72% hit rate with a 19+ yard catch in 13 of his 18 games this year and in 10 of his last 12. With Tampa focusing on stopping Kupp and OBJ, look for Jefferson to get loose a couple of times in this game.
Rob Gronkowski Under 5.5 Receptions
At first glance, you might disagree with this selection as the Buccaneers are missing key receivers and need Gronk to step up in the passing game. However, where Tampa will really need Gronk to contribute is in pass-blocking, especially if Tristan Wirfs and/or Ryan Jensen cannot play. When those players were injured last week, we saw Gronk play more in-line and contribute with blocking, and he could play a similar role this week against the likes of Aaron Donald and Von Miller, who can give Tom Brady fits. Gronkowski is already averaging just 4.6 receptions per game this year, and with the added benefit of the matchup calling him to take on more of a blocking role, I love the idea of getting plus money on this prop.
Cooper Kupp Over 8.5 Receptions
As great as it has been to see Sony Michel playing at a high level and Cam Akers back in the lineup after his Achilles injury just a few months ago, this isn’t the matchup where the Rams will likely be highly productive on the ground – the Buccaneers allow just 92.5 rushing yards per game, the third-fewest in the NFL. Meanwhile, their secondary is banged up and likely has no answer for the elite Cooper Kupp. While he has been under eight receptions in three straight games, Kupp has gone over this line in 9 of 18 games this season. The Rams should have a much more pass-heavy offense this week than they have in recent weeks, and we know Cooper Kupp is often the first and second read for Stafford.
Tom Brady Over 1.5 Rushing Yards
In the write-up on the Gronkowski prop, I referenced how I expect the Buccaneers to have some struggles dealing with an elite Los Angeles pass rush. Tom Brady could be under heavy fire in this game, and it should lead to him taking off and running with the ball a couple of times. Brady has averaged 4.5 rushing yards per game this season, and he has gone over this line in 11 of 18 games (61%). Brady doesn’t have any rushing yards in his last three games, but this prop has more to do with the reality of this particular matchup than his more recent performances.
