Harrah’s New Orleans Is Adding A Massive Caesars Sportsbook This Fall!

Caesars has long been a top name in the gambling world, with well-known resorts and casinos throughout the U.S. With the rapid growth of online sports betting, Caesars continued its upward trajectory in the world of wagering, releasing a popular mobile sportsbook app complete with an advertising blitz featuring everyone from comedian J.B. Smoove and actress Halle Berry to the Manning family. Add in the acquisition of popular betting platform William Hill and it’s clear that Caesars isn’t slowing down anytime soon. In addition to its online betting offerings, Caesars Sportsbook is breaking ground on a brand new retail location soon. Here’s everything you need to know about Caesar’s newest brick-and-mortar sportsbook plans.

Physical Caesars Sportsbook Coming to Harrah’s New Orleans

Harrah’s New Orleans is one of the most popular casino spots in the city, and it’s about to improve its offerings later this year. It’s just been announced that a new retail Caesars Sportsbook will officially open up in the fall. The sportsbook, which will be 5,700 square feet, looks to be an all-encompassing destination for both casual sports fans and experienced sports bettors. The retail sportsbook will showcase four different betting windows, top-notch audio and video for sports games, and 12 sports betting kiosks. The new Caesars Sportsbook will feature a bar holding 28 sports fans as well as enough seating for 140 bettors to monitor their wagers. There’s also the Fan Cave, which is a private viewing experience for 10 people with multiple viewing options.

This high quality sports betting experience will look to open up just in time for NFL season, easily the most popular sports gambling time of year. Once it’s fully open in the fall, residents can stop by and place in-person bets on local favorite teams like the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans.

Harrah’s Also Adding a World Series of Poker Room

The intuitively designed Caesars Sportsbook isn’t the only new offering you should expect at Harrah’s New Orleans this fall. The popular Bayou State casino is also adding a World Series of Poker Room later this year. The room is aiming to be approachable to more casual poker players and veterans of the game alike. The World Series of Poker Room will aim to host weekly poker tournaments three times throughout the week.

Caesars Continues To Grow in Louisiana

These new additions prove that Caesars is serious about the Louisiana betting market. Caesars has made multiple partnerships with popular sports teams in the area, such as the New Orleans Pelicans, LSU Tigers, and New Orleans Saints. In fact, the company currently has the naming rights to the home of the Saints, the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Plus, the brand is adding another retail sportsbook soon at the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino in Bossier City. And the Caesars mobile sportsbook app continues to be competitive in the Louisiana sports betting market, which saw a $171.1 million handle in May of 2022. The online sportsbook will continue to compete with other Louisiana betting sites such as DraftKings Sportsbook, BetMGM Sportsbook, and Barstool Sportsbook.
